Both paper options use archival, pigmented ink and, when viewed side-by-side, are indistinguishable from each other in terms of paper texture, color, detail, and print quality.

The critical distinction is that the cotton rag paper is archival and designed to maintain its original quality for 100-200 years, depending on environmental exposure.

If you want a museum-quality print that can be resold or passed down to future generations to enjoy, then opt for cotton rag paper. If not, then enhanced matte is a great choice.
